Stop At: A Day on the Water, 937 Mandarin Isle, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33315-1640

Your charter will begin and end at a private residence. We will board with group pictures to remember your day.

Depending on the tour selected, our Sailing Charters are four hours or two-hours. Your host will be Captain Dan, a licensed boat captain with over 20 years of local sailing experience. You will be provided a variety of options based on your groupsâ€™ preference and weather. We welcome Anniversaries, Birthday Parties, Bachelor and Bachelorette wedding parties, Engagement experience, Picnics, sunset date nights or just chilling.

You may want to ride the bow in a bean bag chair and sip a cocktails, sail in the Atlantic Ocean, or swim and snorkel. You may want to drive the boat under sail and learn how to sail. The day belongs to you.

The sailboat is well equipped will all necessary safety equipment; Your Safety is our responsibility.

We chartered the Wind Pirate as a surprise to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday over the Thanksgiving weekend. We decided to go sailing instead of powerboating, and were so glad we did. Captain Dan and First Mate Tracey could not have been nicer, more responsive or accommodating. Captain Dan was very knowledgeable about the sites along the New River. He saved the day when we realized we had forgotten our wine corkscrew - this was not his first rodeo! LOL We loved the beanbags - nice touch and very cozy. An awesome time was had by all! Highly recommend.

Had a great day on the water with Captain Dan and the other charter couple. We got to do the Commodore’s Cup Race with Gulfstream Sailing Club and I don’t know any other charter company that would even consider it! Captain Dan is the best, and he and his wife, Tracey, are efficient and organized and do a great job for their guests. Wind Pirate is clean and beautifully maintained by this fun couple. Looking forward to sailing again and I hope next time, Tracey will come out with us!

We chartered with Dan on Viator for a 4 hour charter sailing expedition. Dan called us the night before and was very upfront with us that we may have to postpone the next day due to inclement weather. He was very open with communication which was great. Me and my wife had an excellent time day of and he texted us early morning that the day will be nice and beautiful which it was. Dan was so easy going and really just enjoys every minute, and we had a great time! This is our go-to from now on for sailing charters! Great job and see ya soon Dan!

Simply a great day out, a must do experience while in the area. Very professional and friendly. Highly recommended. Nice mix of touring the inlet waterways and ocean sailing.

My husband used to sail and wanted me to have the experience to see if we wanted to get back into it. Dan was quick to respond to initial phone call for reservation and he and his wife were both professional, friendly and organized. The trip was very pleasant, although the seas were a bit rough, giving me a realistic idea of sailing. My husband was allowed at the helm and I simply enjoyed.

Both Captain Dan and his wife, Tracy, were friendly and professional, and we appreciated their responsiveness when reaching out to schedule our trip. My husband is a budding sailer, and Captain Dan was extremely knowledgeable and willing to teach along the way. For those, like me, who prefer to sit back, relax and take in the views, this was an absolutely wonderful way to spend an afternoon.

We loved sailing with Captain Dan! We had a super relaxing trip and he gave us history of places we sailed by! Captain Dan and his wife Tracy made my birthday the best day!! If you are looking for a great time, sail with Captain Dan!!

Amazing experience! We went out at 2:30pm got to snorkel, see the boat show, and got back for an amazing sunset. Dan and Tracey are wonderful! Was a great ride, and we will definitely be back!
